2020: Implementation of the standard telecommunication solution in 30 shops

On October 26, 2020 the AiTeco company together with Leroy Merlin implemented the project on creation of telecommunication infrastructure. Telephony based on Cisco Business Edition 7000H is unrolled in 30 shops of retail network "Leroy Merlin" located in all territory of Russia. In a project deliverable economy of funds for telephony makes 30%. High speed of reaction to requests of users, a possibility of flexible connection and implementation of additional functionality is also provided.

Before start of the project in 2019 all telephony in shops "Leroy Merlin" was provided by cellular operators as service for each object of network separately. In total in network of 107 shops" in more than 60 cities of Russia, and daily they receive about 28 thousand calls.

Because of impossibility to render to users all necessary services and difficulties with system maintenance the decision on transition to own equipment providing availability of functionality of telephony to the staff of shops and call centers was made. 12 shops of "K-reception" purchased in 2018 by Leroy Merlin in St. Petersburg became pilot objects: specialists of Leroy Merlin integrated them into the general IT infrastructure of the company, adjusted correct work of telephony. Successful implementation on pilot objects allowed to replicate the solution in other shops of network.

As a result of the held tender the AiTeco company offered the project based on Cisco Business Edition 7000H. Leroy Merlin uses routers and other equipment of the Cisco data network long ago.

We already not for the first time work with Leroy Merlin. Colleagues prepare seriously worked technical requirements and expect the options which are most corresponding to their tasks from participants of the tender. Specialists of AiTeco managed to pick up the solution suitable Leroy Merlin not only from the point of view of used technologies, but also which appeared the most optimal on acquisition value and further maintenance — Maxim Mitrokhin, the director of business development of AiTeco notes.

Works within the project were carried out in parallel on all objects and took about three months. The command of AiTeco implemented the central core, trained the staff of Leroy Merlin in work with a system, setup and its maintenance further.

Telephony based on Cisco Business Edition 7000H provides the high speed of reaction to requests of users, gives the chance of flexible connection and implementation of new functionality. It is possible to use both video conference, and telephone communication, to work both with mobile, and with stationary devices — Nikolay Dranchuk, the head of department of IT of the Platform, the Domain of Technology of Leroy Merlin tells.

Also as a result of the implemented project the number of the equipment and racks for its placement was reduced, the quantity of electricity for ensuring cooling and work decreased.

For October, 2020 are a part of the centralized telecommunication infrastructure of Leroy Merlin: 17 virtual servers, 3 hosts of virtualization. The number of subscribers exceeds 3500 people.

In plans gradual transfer and other shops on Cisco equipment. When opening new and upgrades of already functioning shops telephony will be unrolled according to the standard project developed by AiTeco and Leroy Merlin.
