Owners
DIY-cet "K-reception" contains 14 hypermarkets. Three of them are located in Moscow, eight more — in St. Petersburg, on one — in Kaluga, Tula and Yaroslavl. According to Kommersant, revenue of network in 2017 grew by 6% to 184 million euros.
2018: Leroy Merlin buys hypermarkets of "K-reception"
The retail chain stores of goods for the house and repair of Leroy Merlin redeemed the areas of the competing retailer of "K-reception" at the beginning of 2018. The CEO of the French network in Russia Vincent Janti told journalists about it. All outlets will become hypermarkets "Leroy Merlin", the corresponding reconstruction will borrow from four to six months.
Transaction amount was 12 billion rubles. At this price the French DIY retailer purchased 12 shops from 14, including at once eight hypermarkets in the territory of the Northern Capital. "Purchase of shops of "K-reception" allows us to win ten years of development in St. Petersburg" — Zhanti commented. Also the transaction included three hypermarkets in Moscow and one in Kaluga.
The average floor space of the purchased shops makes from 6 to 7 thousand sq.m. For comparison, for Leroy Merlin hypermarkets of 8 thousand and 10 thousand sq.m. are standard. At the same time the area of one of again purchased shops — on Vasilyevsky Island in St. Petersburg — is only 4 thousand sq.m. It will be the smallest outlet of Leroy Merlin in Russia[1].
The transaction did not include two hypermarkets of "K-reception" in Yaroslavl and Tula. Outlets are not necessary to Leroy Merlin as nearby in these cities their own work, Vincent Janti explained. As it is possible to judge, hypermarkets anyway will change owners.
