UPS under the brand name "Communication Engineering" from the company "Parus-Electro" are built using double conversion technology, which provides reliable power supply and uninterrupted operation of servers, data centers (data centers), telecommunication and communication systems, as well as other critical equipment. The UPS range covers capacities from 1 kVA to 1560 kVA for a single device, including versions for installation in a 19 "cabinet, industrial and modular fault tolerant systems.
2023: Line of modular UPSs on 100 kVA power units 3U high
On May 23, 2023, Parus-Electro announced the release of a line of modular UPSs on power units with a capacity of 100 kVA with a height of only 3U. UPS cabinets of SIP380A MD series with capacity from 400 kVA to 600 kVA with base dimensions of 800x1000 mm, including distribution system, are available for ordering.
The use of three-level inverter-based circuitry provides an output power factor of 1.0 to protect high-power equipment. Efficiency over 97% reduces power consumption and heat generation, and a wide range of input voltages and frequencies reduces the number of transitions to batteries, extending their service life. A charger up to 100 amps per module makes it possible to operate UPS with large-capacity battery packs to increase battery life, including with lithium battery cabinets.
Parallel operation of up to 8 UPS cabinets and N + x redundancy at the power module level ensures system capacity increase and high level of reliability. The large color touch screen has an intuitive interface for monitoring and adjusting the operation of the UPS. UPS monitoring is provided through Modbus or SNMP communication protocols, up to secure version 3, which simplifies integration into enterprise management systems.
Modular UPS series SIP380A MD are products of domestic production based on Russian standards with technical support of the manufacturer throughout the life cycle. The model range allows you to build reliable fault-tolerant uninterruptible power supply systems of the data center, eliminate sanctions risks and ensure independence from foreign equipment suppliers. In 2023, we plan to expand the range to 1600 kVA, said Vladimir Khlebnikov, CEO of Parus-Electro commented.

2022: Rack/Tower 1 ~ 3 kVA SIS with 1.0 power factor
On January 20, 2022, Parus-Electro announced the start of deliveries of the next series of online UPS Svyaz Engineering - SIPB Rack/Tower 1 ~ 3 kVA with a power factor of 1.0.
The activities of any modern company depend on the reliability of the corporate IT infrastructure. Servers and DSS provide continuous software, databases, financial statements, and other valuable information. The most important role in the stability of their operation is played not only by the choice of equipment, but also by the conditions of its operation, including the reliability of the electrical network.
Online UPS "Communication Engineering" of the Rack/Tower SIPB series with a capacity of 1 ~ 3 kVA help protect servers and DSS from all power problems. Due to double conversion, interference and voltage surges in the network are eliminated. And the built-in batteries guarantee the autonomy of power and the continuity of operation of critical equipment in the event of a sudden power outage, explained in "Parus-Electro."
The main features of the Rack/Tower SIS are:
- Increase the power of the connected server hardware with PF = 1.0, e.g. 3 kVA = 3 kW.
- Universal installation in 19 ″ rack or on the floor.
- Color rotary display with menu in Russian.
- Sinusoidal output voltage in all operating modes and zero switching time to batteries.
- Increase battery life by connecting external battery packs.
- High efficiency mode for saving electricity (ECO mode with an efficiency of 99%).
- "Hot" battery replacement without disconnecting the equipment.
- Integration into IT systems (internal mini slot for SNMP cards or "dry" contacts).
2021: Compatibility with Astra Linux Special Edition release "Smolensk" version 1.6 and Astra Linux Common Edition release "Eagle" version 2.12.29
On January 18, 2021, the Astra Linux GC announced that, together with Parus-Electro, it had completed compatibility tests for the SIPB series devices and operating systems of the Astra Linux family.
For testing, an uninterruptible power supply of the SIPB series was provided, which was connected by a USB cable to automated workstations running the Astra Linux Special Edition release "Smolensk" version 1.6, including with the UPDATE 6 security bulletin installed, and the Astra Linux Common Edition release "Eagle" version 2.12.29.
During the test, it was found that the uninterruptible power supply of the SIS is connected and functioning correctly. Control and monitoring of UPS status, as well as OS shutdown in case of power outage were carried out successfully. The control software stably monitors the power supply status of the system, can detect power failures, and when the UPS charge level decreases accumulators to a set value, the system is shut down or hibernated. The results of the compatibility study showed the usability of the UPS of the ISP with both Astra Linux operating systems and were officially confirmed by Ready for Astra Linux 3662/2020 and 3663/2020 certificates.
{{quote "Thanks to the use of dual conversion technology, UPS" Communication Engineering "ensures reliable power supply and uninterrupted operation of servers, data centers, telecommunications and communication systems, as well as other critical equipment. The UPS range covers the power range from 1 kVA to 1560 kVA for a single device, versions for installation in a 19 "cabinet, industrial and modular fault-tolerant systems are available. Certification of our products under the Ready for Astra Linux program confirms that it can be used without restrictions by organizations using the domestic operating system, including in a secure version, - says the head of marketing at Parus-Electro Aleksei Morozov. }}
{{quote "Correct operation of uninterruptible power supplies with operating systems developed by Astra Linux GC allows to implement a reliable software and hardware complex and optimize the costs of creating a fault-tolerant IT infrastructure. I note that installing and configuring the necessary packages for monitoring and managing power does not require programming skills and can be performed by the user in accordance with the instructions developed by our specialists, - comments Roman Mylitsyn, Astra Linux GC Innovation Director. }}
2020: Red OS compatibility
On November 18, 2020, RED SOFT announced that, together with Parus-Electro, it had tested its products for compatibility within the framework of the partnership. The developers confirmed the correctness of the joint operation of uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) under the trademark "Communication Engineering" and the operating system RED OS ( manufactured by RED SOFT) when using nut packages.
The nut packages required for OS and UPS collaboration are available in the RED OS repository. They allow you to monitor the power status of the system, determine the power failure and, when the UPS batteries are low, perform OS shutdown or hibernation. The use of built-in OS tools prevents data loss or system damage in case of power supply failure.
The joint work of domestic manufacturers to create software and hardware systems is an important step towards optimizing the costs of our customers to deploy infrastructure and create non-vendor-dependent systems to protect against sanctions risks, "commented Vladimir Khlebnikov, General Director of Parus-Electro. |
Ensuring safe and uninterrupted operation in the data center and on servers running RED OS is one of the priority tasks for us as a developer. Confirmation of the correct operation of the UPS "Communication Engineering" with our operating system is an important step in this direction. We thank our colleagues from Parus-Electro for their fruitful cooperation, - said Rustamov Rustam, Deputy General Director of RED SOFT. |
