The Nizhny Tagil school No. 100 opened doors for pupils on September 2, 2019, and in November of the same year was received the first packet of the licenses "P7 Office". Since then a system is more and more deeply integrated into information processes of organization. Material about an implementation project of "P7 Office" at school No. 100 was at the disposal of TAdviser on November 23, 2020.

As Alexander Klepalov told, the school electronics engineer, possibilities of the P7 Office platform help to endure without serious consequences the period of remote work, the second for the current year. Using "P7" it was succeeded to organize remote joint work of teachers in the unified information system of school and also to facilitate life to pupils, having organized file sharing within educational process.

The question of formation of a single system for joint work over documents on the scale of school rose literally from the moment of its opening. We considered the most different options including solutions of Microsoft – to educational institutions office products are on sale at greatly reduced prices. However if to take into account that at us 513 jobs, the amount all the same turns out considerable for the school budget. Besides, the trend of transition to use of domestic software is obvious, and actually to purchase software of foreign development if there is a domestic analog, already uncommon task. And even if it can be used in education who will be charged what tomorrow or the day after tomorrow there will be no strict requirement to use only of domestic software? Generally, decided that it is worth implementing software of the Russian development already now, - Alexander Klepalov explained the choice of a product.

Initially the customer set the task to receive a functional analog of Google Docs with which teachers and pupils could work, first, with documents online, secondly — to do it jointly, as a part of the working group. At this software had to be domestic.

Browsed the list of domestic software, and except one clone of LibreOffice, nothing serious? except "P7 Office"? did not detect. Tried — and our expectations in general were met. It was decided to be engaged in implementation of this platform closely. As shows experience of life in the conditions of coronavirus epidemic — not for nothing, - Alexander Klepalov continued.

School No. 100 of the city of Nizhny Tagil had to take the park of devices on which office system will work into account. Generally it is notebooks, and not the most powerful configurations — based on Intel Celeron, AMD E2 and other not most powerful processors.

Stationary computers — them 168 — work under management Linux, and on them with "P7" everything is remarkable. The main part of the PC park — notebooks under Windows 10, and rather weak. I personally made an experiment — in parallel started on identical Alt Linux Education PCs and Windows 10, opened on them in "P7 Office" several identical tables, and found out that the machine on Linux consumes much less CPU time and RAM, and responsiveness of a system in a forehead it is obvious better. Naturally, I want to unify a reference platform for benefit of Linux — administration so becomes simpler, but also, this platform more makes thrifty use of the PC resources. So, the solution which we would select for implementation should be cross-platform what Microsoft cannot offer, - the representative of school added.

At school of only 513 jobs on the PC (including computer classes), and, respectively, 513 licenses "P7 Office" from producer — JSC NKT free of charge were provided to it. As of November, 2020 "P7 Office" is set on about 350 jobs, and in the near future is going to complete system deployment. Teachers of school already actively use a system including by means of the browser, through a corporate portal.

In a varying degree by us practically all functionality which the platform offers is demanded. In certain cases the had opportunities of steel for us an exit from difficult situations. Take, for example, a question of file sharing between teachers and school students. During the last, spring period of remote work we faced problems. The matter is that the Network City system is service of the electronic diary which is used including as means of remote work and file sharing in our region — in connection with repeatedly increased loading was limited by document volume in an investment to 200 KB. It is inconvenient, not all documents keep within a limit. Therefore this time we are going to use for exchange of documents between teachers and pupils the P7 Office platform unrolled at us on the school server. Pupils of 10-11 classes are already provided with accounts for work with a system. I hope, the power of the server and capacity of our channel will appear enough to pull also average (5-9) and also elementary grades. In total 1466 children study at our school, from them about 690 is elementary school so a task difficult. Plus, we transfer all work with the reporting which was conducted via Google Docs earlier to "P7", - Alexander Klepalov shared.

Nevertheless, on computers with which pupils work of especially high school, so far main system is LibreOffice — for the reason that all Unified State Examinations and OGE in information science take place either using Microsoft Office, or using LibreOffice. The same concerns the various Olympic Games and tenders.

If to speak about other functional aspects — to us the project management system and the platform for communication especially was to the taste. But active implementation of these modules is a little slowed down by need of some basic training and accustoming, - the representative of School No. 100 of the city of Nizhny Tagil specified. - Of course, it was not without problems, including technical character. In particular, the server part of the platform regularly "fell" after each updating operating system (Alt Linux is used), and once the new version of the SQL server that enters a distribution kit, occupied the ports necessary for "P7". But anyway these issues managed to be resolved safely. However so far it is impossible to connect XMPP (Jabber) - the client to internal to the messenger "P7 Office" though if I correctly understood, such opportunity theoretically exists.

School No. 100 expects to complete until the end of 2020 transfer process of users on "P7 Office" using all opportunities which the platform offers.
