NKT will deliver 20,000 licenses "P7 Office" in educational institutions of Zabaykalsky Krai

2020: Delivery of 20,000 licenses to educational institutions

JSC Novye kommunikatsionnye tekhnologii and the Ministry of Housing and Public Utilities, power engineering specialists, digitalizations and communications of Zabaykalsky Krai signed the delivery agreement of the Russian P7 Office office suite. NKT reported about it on December 25, 2020.

The document is directed to accomplishment of a problem of federal importance of digital transformation of the educational industry and state structures within implementation of the national program "Digital Economy of Russia" and to promoting of the Russian information technologies at the regional level.

Under the terms of the agreement NKT will free of charge transfer to educational institutions of 20,000 licenses for a packet of office solutions "P7 Office". In the territory of Zabaykalsky Krai official distributor IT- the company will be engaged in implementation of the Russian office suite Lad.

Specialists of the Ministry of housing and public utilities, power, digitalization and communication of Zabaykalsky Krai since the beginning of 2020 tested this product in practice, - the first Deputy Prime Minister of the government of Zabaykalsky Krai Andrey Kefer noted. - During this time, according to them, the software proved as the product capable to compete with the leading IT solutions.

Realities are like that that children from the earliest age begin to get acquainted with computers, gadgets and software. Therefore it is especially important that in educational institutions enough attention was paid to training in programs with which pupils interact and will work in adulthood, - Natalia Agafonova, the CEO of JSC Novye kommunikatsionnye tekhnologii commented. - Use of "P7 Office" does schools independent of the license policy of the foreign companies and also reduces costs.

The CEO of Lad IT company Dmitry Petrov considers that domestic software - a worthy alternative to office IT solutions of foreign producers as technical support on implementation and operation of "P7 Office" is provided with the Russian side, and the functionality of this product is developed especially for the organizations of public sector.

As a result of implementation of domestic software pupils and teachers of schools of Zabaykalsky Krai will get access to a packet of office programs, full-function and compatible to all formats, turning on editors of text documents, tables and presentations, preview players of images and video, the platform for joint work and also an organizer with the calendar and an e-mail client.

The server version provides multi-user access, joint editing and reviewing, has the built-in chat, a control system of versions. The project management system, the platform for creation of corporate social network with the built-in messenger is also provided in a packet.
