Education

Vasily Tubashov graduated from the Russian State Medical University with a degree in pediatrics, graduated from graduate school in surgery, and is a candidate of medical sciences.

Biography

2002-2012

From 2002 to 2008, he worked as a surgeon in the city clinical hospital No. 31 in Moscow. In 2012, the specialist was appointed deputy head physician of this hospital.

2016-2018

In January 2016, Vasily Tubashov was appointed head of the department for work with the Western Administrative District of Moscow by the Directorate of the Moscow Department of Health.

In July 2018, he became director of the Yaroslavl Regional Clinical Hospital.

2021: Appointment as Head of Depzdrav, Yaroslavl Region

In mid-January 2021, Vasily Tubashov was appointed director of the Department of Health and Pharmacy of Yaroslavskaya. He replaced Ruslan Saitgareev, who led the regional health system since October 2016.

We managed to do a lot in modernizing the industry, including strengthening the equipment of medical organizations, introducing modern approaches to patient treatment, creating digital technologies in healthcare, and interacting with public associations and organizations. This year showed that Yaroslavl healthcare is on a strong foundation and is ready to cope with many challenges with dignity, "said Saitgareev, commenting on his resignation.

According to Vasily Tubashov, he considers one of his main tasks to introduce digital technologies into regional medicine and improve the accessibility of medical care for residents of the region, primarily primary medical care. According to him, the modernization of the entire primary health care system, which starts in 2021, will help in solving these problems.

However, the number one challenge remains to combat the spread of coronavirus COVID-19 infection. And here it is important to maintain the interaction of all structural units, the coherence of the work of the health department and the authorities, "said the new head of the Yaroslavl Depzdrav.

Before taking this position, Tubashov was the director of the Yaroslavl Regional Clinical Hospital.^[1]
