The Russian cement manufacturer SLK Cement switched from paper to electronic during the quarantine period. The introduction of Directum RX helped build effective operations in conditions of restrictions, accelerating internal processes. This was announced by Directum (Directum) on February 15, 2021.

The solution was due to the transition to electronic document flow within the company and between branches, the desire to speed up the process of coordinating documents and organize systematic storage and easy search of documents.

An important criterion for choosing a product, in addition to box functionality and usability, was the supplier's similar experience in implementing document management systems at subsidiaries of international companies, "said Dmitry Galenkov, head of the SLK Cement information technology service. - Directum's expertise and competence, the possibility of installing a SaaS model have become decisive factors in favor of Directum RX.

A feature of the implementation of the system was additional capabilities: tracking letters by track number on the sites of courier or postal services without the need to switch to these portals, forming registers of postal items of the Russian Post, issuing and coordinating corporate documents in standard formats, creating an electronic database for travel, as well as using an electronic signature format CAdES-XL, ensuring the legal significance of the document for a long time storage.

The project to implement the Directum RX system took place in a remote format, as it chronologically coincided with quarantine restrictions. Previously, the company conducted a detailed study and optimization of processes: some of them were changed, for some they modified the functionality of Directum RX. Besides, work through mobile prilozheniyadirectum by Solo and Directum Jazz for the operational solution of urgent questions in a lead over the computer was adjusted.

In the future, SLK Cement will expand the system's capabilities in terms of finalizing the process of coordinating advance reports, end-to-end authorization and setting up separate regulations for service notes on tender procedures and substitutions for the leave period. Directum RX employs about 300 SLK Cement users, including members of the company's Management Board.
