The Atom Space messenger, developed for Rosatom State Corporation on the basis of the eXpress platform, has additional functionality - the employee's personal account. The most popular personnel services are available there: bot assistant, training courses, ordering certificates, issuing sick leaves and vacations, corporate news, etc. The personal account will significantly save time for employees of the nuclear industry to find and receive the necessary information. Unlimited Production announced this on May 25, 2023.

Atom Space is an application designed specifically for communication of employees within the industry, as well as for communication with partners and counterparties in the contour of the State Corporation. Classic functions of the corporate messenger are available on the platform: chats and channels, threads, calls, audio and video conferencing, broadcasts. Atom Space users hold more than 250 work meetings and send tens of thousands of messages every day.

The product is systematically developing and transforming into a mobile workplace. The main page appeared in the application - the start screen, where employees get quick access to working and personnel tools: bot-assistant "Mark," help and billing sheets, vacations and business trips, calendar, booking meeting rooms (planned for launch), etc.

For May 2023, Atom Space and eXpress are corporate superapps that allow you to view the calculation sheets without leaving the application.

An executive service is also available in the app. They can reconcile leave or travel requests and select replacement employees.

The Atom Space homepage is becoming a single center for user alerts. Employees receive up-to-date information about Rosatom's life, read the State Corporation's news from the internal corporate network of professional communities and announcements of upcoming events, learn about updates in corporate IT products, and which of their colleagues celebrates his birthday in the coming month. In the training section, employees learn about the new courses available and view their own development plan.

In upcoming updates, Atom Space will receive a section with notifications from all corporate tools. Users of the application will be able not to waste time looking for alerts - all of them will be available on the main page.

Adding the functionality of a personal account to Atom Space is an important step in building an ecosystem of the workplace of a nuclear industry employee. 2021: Rosatom begins replication of the Russian messenger eXpress on devices of 100 thousand of its employees

The mentioned large-scale replication of the messenger will be carried out following the results of the procurement procedure. The starting price of the contract is set at 182.7 million rubles. Applications from applicants will be accepted until March 4. Summing up is scheduled for March 29, 2021.

Functionality, compliance with security requirements and other characteristics were taken into account, - said representatives of Greenatom.

We have a number of ongoing and completed implementations with Russian customers of various scales, - added a representative of Greenatom. - Unfortunately, in all projects we are under tough NDAs and we have no right to disclose details.

From the point of view of Greenatom representatives, the solution being implemented is a corporate communication environment designed for the safe exchange of information between Rosatom employees and their interaction with partners and counterparties.

During the first stage of work, the corporate messenger eXpress and the video conferencing service Mind were launched, which are Russian developments and are included in the Register of Domestic Software under the Ministry of Digital Development, and a chat bot through the application's software interface provides convenient interaction with information systems and services, - said representatives of Greenatom.

From their point of view, the solution meets all the requirements for information security enterprises, nuclear industry is available to users in the territory Russia and allows the possibility of using the platform outside it, which is important for Rosatom as an active participant in the global market.

It was noted that, unlike public messengers, the use of Express allows you to fully control the circle of people working with the service. For example, in the case of public messengers, a retired employee has access to all messages and confidential documents received, and Express is centrally managed with the ability to connect and disconnect users at any time. Access to certain information is provided in accordance with the corporate access policy.

The Express protection system detects attacks to gain control over the account in the early stages and blocks them. The decision also prohibits backup to public services^[1]

2020: eXpress messenger pilot implementation

The pilot introduction of the messenger took place in the second half of 2020 following the results of the thematic tender of Greenatom with an initial contract price of 17 million rubles. It was about creating a unified communications platform and purchasing a 12-month eXpress license for 600 users. The project integrator was the winner of an open request for proposals - the Ai-teco company, which asked for 16.4 million rubles for its services.
