2024: Integration with GMonit Platform

The company Teachbase integrated IT is a monitoring product GMonit in a training web service. Instrucbase announced this on March 28, 2024.

Instrucbase is a web service that helps automate training in companies from various fields: medicine, IT, manufacturing, education, HoReCa, retail. The library of resource courses is already used by 60,000 + people. The online platform offers a course designer with which the company can collect any training with different directions for a specific task. If necessary, you can use the service to test personnel and test knowledge. Flexible Test Builder supports different types of questions. Mixed programs are also available, suggesting the ability to assemble the program from online courses, webinars and face-to-face activities. In addition, each user is offered a knowledge base. These can be any files: from text instructions to recording a fresh webinar.

To ensure the correct and uninterrupted operation of the multifunctional training platform, Instrucbase required an IT product to monitor service performance.

The integration of the observability of the GMonit platform will allow Instrucbase to see the current state of each application and service of the system, receive timely information about service transactions, analyze the operation of integrated external services, flexibly configure the operator notification system, highlight any critical business metrics and monitor them on individual dashboards.

Instrucbase will ensure the continuous operation of the LMS system, reduce the cost of operating information systems, reduce the impact of technical failures on critical indicators for the company and, as a result, increase revenue, CRR and customer loyalty.

2022: Support for Tin Can API e-courses

The Instrucbase distance learning platform now supports the Tin Can API (xAPI) electronic course standard. The developer announced this on February 1, 2022. Launching the course in this format will allow the organizer to monitor the user's training experience in more detail, and also not depend on the location of the files.

A previous version of the xAPI - SCORM standard requires an LMS to run and store the course, as well as capture and display training results. In addition, SCORM provides limited analytics per student. The parameters are available: course completion status, success, points based on the results of tests and tasks.

The peculiarity of the xAPI is that it allows you to deeply assess the user's experience, for example, find out how much time he spent studying the presentation or reading the material, which buttons or images he pressed more often, which tasks were difficult to perform, etc.

Completing the course created in the xAPI standard does not depend on the browser availability of a connection to the Internet to and training system. In addition, all data processes are written to the LMS database independent (LRS), which belongs to the training organizer. The LRS receives and stores returns information the training results. You can connect ready-made analytics solutions to it, not rarely does it already contain standard analysis tools.

Online learning platforms that support xAPI packages are relevant in a "remote" environment - in companies that have deployed a digital workspace and launched adaptation courses for the remote team within the framework of online onboarding, corporate training and more. Using training process data, managers can improve the quality of materials, their format and approach.
