2021: TeachBase and Webinar Rollout
On March 17, 2021, it became known that the Softline training center completed the introduction of the TeachBase distance learning system and the Webinar video conferencing platform at the Center for Continuous Professional Development of Teachers, a structural unit of the Institute for Education Development of the Perm Territory. The center was created within the framework of the federal project "Teacher of the Future," implemented within the framework of the national project "Education."
According to the company, the professional skills center plans to annually improve the qualifications of teachers of the Perm Territory who are ready to work in a digital educational environment, and for March 2021 they have access to remote training on a modern distance educational platform.
For March 2021, the teacher must meet the requirements of the time and feel free in the digital space. Therefore, the Center for Professional Excellence sets a goal - to teach teachers to use distance learning formats for organizing the educational/educational process, to show how they can apply distance learning methods, how best to organize and conduct online training when working with students, schoolchildren and preschoolers.
Full-fledged remote education is a large and multifaceted process. The student of online courses is not left alone with electronic material, he is involved in a full-fledged educational environment that forms his thinking and knowledge.
For its own work, the Center for Professional Excellence required the introduction of a distance learning system and a video conferencing platform.
In our Center for Professional Excellence in remote format, it is planned to organize advanced training of about 2000 teachers per year. Despite the difficult epidemiological situation and restrictive measures, we continue the educational process, but already remotely. We are engaged in the training of teachers of the future, who have to work in the digital world, in which our children have long lived. told Chistyakova Natalia, head of the Center for Professional Excellence |
Softline has become a partner in the selection and implementation of systems. Software with different functionality for the online tasks of educational institutions is offered by more than 1000 providers. Softline specialists helped the customer choose a suitable distance learning platform - TeachBase. This is a Russian development, a training system with wide functionality, suitable for organizing the educational process in educational organizations. 500 TeachBase licenses were deployed and installed for the center using the SaaS model.
The platform for video conferencing was chosen as the cloud solution Webinar, a modern platform for conducting webinars and online meetings (with a license for on-line training of up to 300 listeners at a time).
The project took about 3 months to complete. The first 2 months were spent on choosing a solution and developing detailed design documentation, and the remaining month - on working out the terms of reference, supplying licenses and deploying an account. Thanks to the implemented solution, the Center for Professional Excellence has the opportunity to conduct interactive classes, seminars, trainings, webinars and even meetings of any complexity and train remotely users from any city in their courses.
