On April 6, 2021, G-Core Labs international provider cloudy and edge solutions, he announced that he had become a supplier of global CDN for the platform, GetCourse one of the services for selling and conducting online training. In Russia, as of April 2021, approximately 70% of all online courses are sold on our platform. More than 9,000 authors conduct their classes on it, which in total uploaded about 700 TB of videos and pictures to us, "comments Sergey Mikhailov, co-owner and managing partner of the service. - Every day, 3 million visitors come to the sites of schools operating on our servers, and this is mainly a Russian-speaking audience, which can be located around the world. We faced the task: to learn everyone to quickly and qualitatively deliver video to the point where it is located.

The platform management solved the problem using CDN. The first experience showed that local providers cope satisfactorily with the delivery of content in Russia, but they are not able to provide acceptable video viewing speed to users from other places - for example, from Japan, Australia, Europe or America. The complexity arose with international solutions.

We probably took CDN Akamai, and we tried to connect it. Everything was excellent, but there was one "but": given the petabytes of traffic that we distribute monthly, the price for services turned out to be biting, "explains Sergey Mikhailov. - Then the company G-Core Labs came to us, which offered one of its services - CDN.

It was possible to test the content delivery network in a short time: GetCourse programmers and technical support specialists G-Core Labs set up and fully prepared CDN for work in two days. The speed and quality of content delivery was first checked for 10% of traffic, and soon they began to use CDN for all 100% - the quality of service was at the level of world companies.
