2025: Employment in the team of the Lipetsk branch of ex-Minister of Health Anna Markova
In November 2025, the Minister of Health of the Lipetsk Region Anna Markova announced a significant step in her career - she quit and accepted the offer of the rector of the Russian University of Medicine to join the team of the Lipetsk branch. This event was the fulfillment of the dream of the medical community of the region, supported by the governor Igor Artamonov. Clinical Center for Maxillofacial Surgery in Moscow will be repaired for 339 million rubles
On April 26, 2024, the Russian University of Medicine announced a tender for the overhaul of the facade of the building of the Clinical Center for Maxillofacial, Plastic Surgery and Dentistry in Moscow. The initial contract value is 339.16 million rubles. Read more here.
Name change to Russian University of Medicine
In January 2024, the Moscow State Medical and Dental University named after A.I. Evdokimova renamed the Russian University of Medicine. The new name was approved following a vote at a general meeting of the university staff.[1]

The institute received university status and became known as the Moscow State Medical and Dental University (MGMSU).
1974
The Moscow Medical Dental Institute was named after N. A. Semashko.
1949
It was reorganized into the Moscow Medical Dental Institute (MMSI), which became a scientific advisory center on all issues of dentistry.
