Naumen instead of HPE. Russian Treasury transfers IT infrastructure to Russian software

At the end of May 2021, it became known about the project to transfer the IT system of the Federal Treasury to Russian software. The largest stage of this project was the implementation of the Naumen Service Desk solution instead of the HP Service Manager platform within the ITSM (IT Service Management) system, which includes a multilevel catalog of IT services and provides the work of a geographically distributed infrastructure of the department, which has 90 territorial bodies and subordinate institutions. About 10 thousand calls are registered in it every day and at the same time more than 4 thousand users work.

Russian Treasury transfers IT infrastructure to Russian Naumen Service Desk software

The project ensured the migration of 9 ITIL processes and all open user calls established in the previous IT system to Russian software as part of the import substitution program. The new system has created a self-service portal that allows users to monitor the progress of requests and provide feedback on the quality of the support service. In addition, Treasury IT specialists received a tool for configuring service parameters, generating operational reports on system objects.

In addition, the Treasury of the Russian Federation transferred an internal corporate portal and a planning and monitoring system to domestic software. The transition to Russian platforms guaranteed the compliance of all three systems with the requirements of Russian legislation for the security of departmental information services, as well as safe work with personal data.

By the end of May 2021, the Treasury of Russia completed the migration of three subsystems of the Federal Treasury Operation Management System to domestic software and is configuring the integration of Naumen Service Desk with the state automated information system "Management" in terms of monitoring the implementation of tasks within the framework of national projects.[1]
