2021: Agreement on the development of digital solutions in the region

The company Mail.ru Group and the Government of the Udmurt Republic signed an agreement on strategic cooperation. The company will support the development of digital solutions in the region, designed to make people's lives more convenient, and the work of government authorities is more effective and transparent. The partnership covers a wide range of tasks: from the digitalization of public services of the Republic to the development of education and assistance in the presentation of goods and services of Udmurtia on the Internet and social networks, the Mail.ru Group reported on June 2, 2021.

The Company will advise the Government of the region using its expertise and technologies in the field of working with cloud services, communication platforms, big data solutions, artificial intelligence and machine learning. The team of Mail.ru Group will analyze the concept of digitalization of the region, help to update it taking into account its experience and practices. The main areas are the optimization of key processes and the development of smart services useful for residents.

An important stage of cooperation will be the development of educational programs for expanding the IT expertise of employees of government bodies and local self-government of the Republic. It is also planned to integrate innovative courses into the educational programs of higher and secondary educational institutions in the region.

In addition, the Government of the Republic and Mail.ru Group will work out the possibility of implementing joint projects using company technologies: services based on artificial intelligence, digital workplace, cloud platform Mail.ru Cloud Solutions and others.
