Phoenix Integration, Inc. is a supplier software for computer modeling system design and model-based.

History

2021: Acquisition by Ansys

Ansys, a global provider of engineering modeling software, announced on June 10, 2021 the acquisition of Phoenix Integration, Inc. The deal is expected to expand the range of Ansys solutions offered. As a result, users can combine a variety of engineering tools and workflows to solve a wide range of tasks and perform robustly model-based design. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The acquisition is not expected to have a significant impact on Ansys' consolidated financial statements in 2021.

In the development process, engineers and designers use many disparate software tools. They do not always integrate with each other, which leads to the need to make changes to the project manually. Coordination in this case takes place through e-mail and spreadsheets. This disrupts the consistency of design processes. Computer modeling allows you to automate processes and solve a number of difficulties. Model-based system design provides the ability to track requirements. This is due to the use of the system model as a single source of reliable information about changes made throughout the product lifecycle.

Model Center from PhoenixI standardization is a vendor-independent software platform that enables engineers to create and automate multi-tool workflows, providing flexibility for complex engineering tasks. Model Center eliminates the gap between engineering analysis and the system model by ensuring that product requirements are met and synchronized with engineering analysis throughout the product development process.

ON Phoenix Integration is used in various industries industries and especially widely - in aero space defensive and sectors. Phoenix Integration is also a longtime partner of Analytical Graphics, Inc., which Ansys acquired in 2020.

"Process integration and model-oriented system design benefit companies from a wide range of industries by creating more efficient working group communication, product quality, and professional productivity," said Shane Emswiler, Senior Vice President of Ansys. - The acquisition of Phoenix Integration will complement Dynardo - a process integration and optimization solution, enhance our ability to provide customers with computer modeling and model-oriented system design (MBSE) tools, and enable us to develop further, creating a set of tools for comprehensive engineering modeling. I am very pleased that Phoenix Integration will join the Ansys team. "

"Phoenix Integration has learned from its own experience the benefits of engineering computer modeling transforming the product development process," said Jane Trenaman, president and CEO of Phoenix Integration. - We look forward to joining forces with Ansys and helping our existing customers access an expanded suite of physics-based modeling tools as part of their design workflows. We are pleased to see that the Model Center platform is also of great value to Ansys professionals and customers. "
