Axelot WMS X5vnedren in the warehouse of LLC "A Zet." This was announced on June 30, 2021 by Axelot (Axelot).

An important task was to automate the operation of the additional processing site in accordance with various customer requirements. Also, the integration of WMS with the corporate information system implemented on the project deserves special attention, which made it possible to structure and translate the processes of interaction between the company's divisions into electronic form.

Warehouse "A Zet" is located in the city of Domodedovo, the storage area for June 2021 is 4,000 square meters. m., and the number of stored nomenclature items reaches 10,000 SKU. The project team was tasked with automating the operation of the warehouse complex based on the implemented system and optimizing the use of storage space. The effects were expected to reduce the number of claims and errors in the processing of orders caused by human factors. It was necessary to significantly increase productivity by increasing the speed of operations, and the system should also monitor compliance with the FeFo principle when shipping goods with batch tracking.

The progress of the project was complicated by the fact that the warehouse works almost around the clock, in schedule 6/14, with an uneven load during the day, which had to be taken into account when planning project work. In addition, to automate the interaction of warehouse-related business units through in-depth integration of AXELOT WMS X5 and the corporate information system, AXELOT specialists had to conduct additional consulting work with all key business units. For integration, the DATAREON MQ Message Queuing Service solution was used .

Within the framework of the project, special attention was paid to the organization of work on additional processing of goods. In addition to the implementation of full control of selected orders, which is combined with picking up cargo items marked with transport barcodes, an additional processing workplace has been developed, where, for example, the formation of boxes of the required multiplicity is recorded, as well as labeling in accordance with the requirements of marketplaces.

With the introduction of AXELOT WMS X5, the company's management has received accurate and transparent tools for on-line monitoring of warehouse processes. Cooperation between related divisions was established, a single information field was created with constant control of the status of tasks. Through the use of shipping documentation, all goods processing processes have been significantly accelerated. 5 stationary and 35 mobile workplaces were automated.

The results of the project were recognized as successful, so the management of A Zet plans to further develop and replicate the implemented system in other warehouses of the company.
