The Beeline mobile operator uses Smart ID Engine identification technologies to accelerate the process of selling SIM cards in branded retail stores and offices in all regions of Russia. This was announced by Smart Engines (Smart Endzhins) on June 28, 2021. The delivery and integration of the software product was performed by the Digital Economy League. As of June 2021, 12 million recognizations were delivered to Bilain as part of the project.

To register a customer when selling a SIM card, it is enough for the office employee to photograph or scan the buyer's passport. The Smart ID Engine automatically recognizes the passport data and fills the required fields of the subscriber card in the information system in just a second. The employee has to confirm this data before entering it in the customer accounting system.

High speed and accuracy of automatic data extraction in the Smart ID Engine is achieved through the use of branded ones algorithms AI developed by Smart Engines scientists. They are based on the scientific achievements of the company's researchers in the field of creating architectures that are compact and energy efficient. neural networks The Smart ID Engine-based technical solution ensures the security of processing personal data during the recognition process, since images of subscriber documents are not transferred for processing to external resources or services using manual input.
