2022: Temperature Compensated RF Filter Tests

The radio-frequency filter, developed by scientifically the production enterprise Butis"," is being tested as part of the onboard antenna of a civil aviation aircraft. Import-substituting chip improves quality of receiving useful radio signals. This was announced on December 6, 2022 by the head of Department of Investment and Industrial Policy of the city of Moscow,. Complex of economic policy and property and land relations of the capital Vladislav Ovchinsky

NPP "BUTIS" specializes in the production of one of the main components of any radio equipment - radio-frequency filters on surface acoustic waves (surfactants). They are used almost everywhere - in smartphones, TVs, navigation, communication and control systems. Their main function is to skip the desired signal and cut off interference and other radio signals.

In 2022, the BUTIS company, localized on the territory of the Moscow Technopolice SEZ, mastered the technology for the manufacture of thermally compensated surfactant filters using piezoelectric substrates. At the beginning of December 2022, such a filter is being tested as part of the onboard antenna of a passenger aircraft. In the future, these developments will find application in Russian navigation satellite systems of civil aviation, - said Vladislav Ovchinsky.

The main feature of the thermally compensated filter is that it reacts less to temperature differences, therefore it gives a more stable connection and a clean radio signal.

Compared to conventional devices, such products have twice the thermal stability. This will increase the density of the used information channels, improve the ability to process radio frequency signals and noise characteristics of the system, increase the selectivity of radio electronic equipment, "said Svetlana Dorofeeva, designer of NPP BUTIS.

2021: Presentation of Radio Frequency Acoustic Filters

On July 5, 2021, the Moscow Technopolice SEZ announced the organization of the production of radio-frequency acoustic filters.

This development in the field of acoustoelectronics is represented by a line of filters on surface acoustic waves (surfactants) from the company Butis"." The filters provide good clear sound without interference during signal transmission sessions. They can be used in wireless and, in satellite communications, "smart" electricity metering devices gas and water devices, in equipment for base stations GSM and/and GLONASSGPS GSM/and signal amplification.LTE Internet

The launch of these products will allow the import substitution of the electronic component base in the strategically important sphere for the country of means of stabilizing the frequency of communication signal transmission. Development from the SEZ "Technopolice Moscow" will help strengthen the technological independence of Russia from imported components in the field of domestic radio electronics and wireless communications. In 2020, the company completed the localization of all its divisions in the SEZ "Technopolice" Moscow. " As of July 2021, its production capacity allows the production of up to 250 thousand filters per year, Technopolice said Gennady Degtev, General Director of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ.

The development of these products took a year and a half. This work was financed by a grant received from the Innovation Assistance Fund in the amount of 20 million rubles, - said Oleg Mashinin, General Director of Butis. All products manufactured at the enterprise have one hundred percent localization in Russia: all raw materials, components and materials for the production of acoustoelectronics products - of domestic origin. Thanks to the localization at the Pechatniki site in the Technopolice Moscow SEZ with its developed infrastructure, it was possible to dramatically accelerate the development and production of import-substituting innovative products.
