2021: Optimization of warehouse processes

In 2018 the Faberlic company began the project on automation of warehouse SMK (the raw materials, materials completing) by production in Moscow, the modern decision - AXELOT WMS X5 in which introduction experts of AXELOT were engaged was for this purpose chosen. After successful implementation, work began on replicating the system in another Faberlic warehouse in Domodedovo.

The tasks of the project were the same - optimization of warehouse processes and organization of end-to-end serial accounting in WMS and ERP. The warehouse where the replication was carried out has an area of ​ ​ 70,000 sq.m. It is also a warehouse for raw materials and materials, in total about 8000 active items are stored in the warehouse.

AXELOT automated the functions of acceptance/labeling of products from external suppliers, acceptance of returns from production, planning of QMS selection according to fans, selection of QMS with exceeding the plan, multiple of the whole package. Processes were also organized to select storage locations on the basis of FEFO and FPFO, as well as to select QMS on the basis of FEFO. The tasks are grouped for shipment.

AXELOT WMS X5 was integrated with corporate ERP systems through the DATAREON ESB data service bus, which made it possible to ensure the functioning of systems in a single information space and organize end-to-end serial accounting of QMS.

Automation has reduced logistics and warehouse personnel costs. It is planned to further develop and replicate the system.
