2024: Presentation of the S50 and S10 models
Ronavi Robotics introduced an updated line of its logistics robots in February 2024. The expansion of the lineup will allow the company to faster perform robotization of customers' warehouses. Ronavi Robotics announced this on March 6, 2024.
The line also includes compact S-series models - S50 and S10. The first replaces devices for sorting goods in distribution centers. In production conditions, it can carry volumetric trays weighing up to 100 kg. For example, with spare parts for an assembly line. The S10 is a compact robot for automated sorting of letters and parcels. Read more here.
2021: Robot announcement
On July 13, 2021, Ronavi Robotics, a member of the Technospark Group of Companies of the investment network of the Infrastructure and Educational Programs Fund (FIOP) of the Rusnano Group, announced the start of sales of the Ronavi S50 robot for automatic sorting of mail.
The new model is designed to distribute and send letters and parcels weighing up to 50 kg to their destinations. According to the developers, 80 copies of the robot with the participation of two people per hour can sort 7 thousand parcels in 30 directions. The manufacturer also lists the following advantages of its product:
- flexible response to changes in the volume of cargo distribution;
- online change of the number of destination areas and redistribution of addresses;
- optimization of employee functionality, elimination of errors due to human factors;
- The RMS robot control system builds optimal routes and provides unmistakable movement.
The Ronavi S50 robot is capable of moving at speeds up to 3 m/s. Maximum connection speed (charging station, rack gripping) is 0.2 m/s. The device is powered by a 576 Wh battery that provides up to 5 hours of battery life. The charging time of the robot is set at 20-25 minutes at the maximum charge current of 40 A.
Ronavi Robotics calls itself the first Russian company to develop, manufacture and sell autonomous robots for logistical needs. By mid-July 2021, the Ronavi line of robots includes three models with a carrying capacity of 1.5 thousand, 500 and 50 kg.
In early July 2021, Ronavi Robotics' proposal to automate work in distribution centers was among the winners of the second accelerator MGNTech of the Russian product chain Magnit and the Skolkovo Foundation. In the near future, pilot testing will begin at the retailer's warehouses.[1]
