Softline equipped the Rostov Institute for Advanced Training and Professional Retraining of Educational Workers with digital solutions

On July 20, 2021, Softline announced the completion of the project to equip the Rostov Institute for Advanced Training and Professional Retraining of Educational Workers with equipment and software that will be used in the training and certification of teachers. Using digital devices, teachers of the institution will provide continuous and systematic training of pedagogical workers as part of the implementation of the federal project "Teacher of the Future." In addition to the supply of computers and office equipment, presentation and server equipment, engineers set up and commissioning devices, and also prepared the institute's employees to work in the emerging conditions, organizing training for them.

In accordance with the federal project "Teacher of the Future," a national system of professional development of pedagogical workers is being introduced in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation. It is expected to cover at least 50 per cent of general education teachers. It also plans to improve the skills of teachers by using digital technologies, forming and participating in professional associations, exchange programs and best practices, as well as involving employers in additional professional education of teachers, including in the form of internships.

For the successful implementation of the "Teacher of the Future" project, the Rostov Institute for Advanced Training needed to equip workplaces with new equipment and software. For this, the management of the institution announced the holding of open tenders, in which Softline won. Softline, a global provider of IT solutions and services, has extensive competencies and many years of experience in implementing projects in the field of education. This allowed the provider to offer optimal solutions that meet all regulatory requirements. In addition, the cost of equipment and software that Softline helped to select fully corresponded to the allocated budget.

As part of the state contract, Softline equipped the institute with HP laptops and all-in-ones, Canon office equipment, interactive panels and Smart flipcharts, a video wall with LCD LG panels. The software was also delivered and implemented - Kaspersky, ABBYY FineReader, Mind Webinar. In addition, a multimedia hall is equipped with equipment (AMS) and an interactive tribune is installed, which is a multivendor solution of the manufacturers Allegri, HP, Kramer. Thanks to the training that the provider's specialists conducted for the staff of the institution, the institute's employees were immediately able to start working with devices.
