2021: Inclusion in the register of Russian software

The product of Datana (part of the LANIT group) is included in the register of Russian software. This was announced by LANIT on July 26, 2021. Datana Mash is designed to solve the production problems of the metallurgical and chemical industries, it reduces costs and thereby the cost of production by optimizing the consumption of material and technical resources.

The use of Datana Mash in a steel mill allows you to optimize the consumption of expensive ferroalloys and achieve a significant economic effect. The solution analyzes the process data in real time, and then, using physicochemical and mathematical forecasting methods, recommends an optimal set of ferroalloys.

Placing a product in the register of Russian software is not just a formality, for us this is an important milestone. This confirms for customers the existence of the product in fact, and not in words. We get some competitive advantage over foreign players, since the demand for domestic developments is real, which is very great. Inclusion in the register gives us the opportunity to participate in grant programs and allows us to sell licenses without VAT, said Andrey Zakharov, product director at Datana.

The companies of the LANIT group registered 23 own products in the unified registry of domestic software, taking into account the specifics of the work of Russian companies and government bodies.
