According to the company, Alma TV employees previously worked in older versions of 1C: Accounting the programs "1.5.8" and "1C: Salary and Human Resources 1.1.12." The capabilities of old systems were not supported by the company, 1C updates were no longer issued and programs did not meet the requirements of the law. In particular, it was not possible to send an electronic invoice (ESF) from the program, connect work with the goods of the Virtual Warehouse, and issue an accompanying invoice for the goods (SNT). Financial Asset accounting (FA) was maintained in two different bases. As of July 2021, Alma TV has over 1 million items OS in circulation, a total of about 7 million nomenclature units in the directory - telecommunication equipment:, switchboards modems,,,, servers routers video walls remote control systems, access points, Wi-Fi media vectors, multiplexers, radio bridges, controllers, cable lines adapters, hubs, connectors, patch cords, cables cable channels and sockets, components CKC and radio bridges.

It was also necessary to calculate depreciation against revalued fixed assets for all periods. Since their accounting was kept in an atypical document, revision was required in the system taking into account the requirements of the company. When performing tasks by different branches for laying telecommunication networks, it is necessary to transfer the OS to branches. Previously, the OS migration file was an external document, contained up to 1000 lines, and it was uploaded to Excel. The data was then uploaded by the store to the 1C system and postings were generated only after that. In case of an error, you had to delete old operations and load everything again. The labor-intensive process took a large amount of time. For the center of financial responsibility - the head office - it was necessary to finalize, allowing to transfer funds, pay off debts in any office. Since branches purchase equipment or services according to their needs, there may be a debt to the supplier, which will be paid by the head office.

It was also necessary to directly exchange between the billing system and 1C in order to reduce the labor costs of transferring and duplicating data in all subsystems of the company. The size of the database was 160 GB, the update took a hard and long time, its preparation for the current modified database and the process itself took several days.

Due to the termination of support for the system, more than 10 missed releases were formed. Updating programs taking into account the volume of the base and missed updates required many hours of manual work of programmers. Alma TV, as a result of the competitive selection, chose the experienced IT integrator "First Bit" to solve the accumulated problems as experts in the automation of regulated accounting. Assessing the situation, First Bit experts proposed:

  • Switch to current software versions
  • Simulate required processes in updated versions
  • refine the systems to the customer's requirements;
  • Transfer the data to the database
  • set up exchange "1C: Accounting for Kazakhstan 8.3" with IS ESF;
  • integrate with the client bank to send documents to the bank and receive them directly from the 1C programs using one button;
  • Set up financial accounting and fixed assets
  • Train training staff on all work in the programmes.

Thus, the objectives of the project were defined:

  • transition to modern programs "1C: Accounting for Kazakhstan 8.3" and "1C: Salary and personnel management for Kazakhstan 3.1" with the creation of a single base for groups of legal entities;
  • maintenance of fixed asset depreciation calculation according to company regulations in the current program "1C: Accounting for Kazakhstan 8.3";

  • Sending and receiving payments through service banks in 1C solutions
  • Ensuring the issuance and receipt of electronic invoices in the 1C program, in accordance with the legislation of Kazakhstan;
  • support and support of programs.

The First Bit team had a chance to work with large volumes of information in Alma TV databases for 15 months. Specialists installed updated versions of programs, simulated processes, identified requirements for refining systems, transferred data, set up accounting, trained and advised users.

  • revaluation data was transferred first to the test base, then to the work base, the difference in totals for 2020 was transferred by a separate operation;
  • completed the revision "Automation of OS transfer between branches." Now the whole process takes place inside the 1C system - one branch creates an OS transfer, the second sees and can conduct it;
  • automated the transfer of funds within the Joint Stock Company. All operations are carried out with approval of the responsible person, sighting in "1C";
  • automated the transfer of debt between branches and the head office;
  • Set up the customer bank in the updated 1C programs
  • transferred key releases to the updated database, the base was 30 GB, 1 database update release began to take up to two hours;
  • experts conducted training with users on work in the programs "1C: Salary and personnel management for Kazakhstan" and "1C: Accounting for Kazakhstan," since the functionality and interface of the programs is radically different from the previous ones.

Specialists of the First Bit automated 100 jobs, the accounting department, personnel and warehouse services.

Implementation Results:

  • Accounting, tax and personnel accounting shall be carried out in accordance with the legislation in the unified information system;

Before the project, we worked in old releases of programs withdrawn from support. The updates took a lot of time, the load on the staff and led to the interruption of processes, I had to do a lot manually. We also have a specific accounting of fixed assets in the company in order to meet the requirements, all documents have undergone a certain revision. Initially, we considered various solutions - "1C: Integrated Automation," the option of switching to simple standard solutions, but in the end we decided to save important data, transferred the history to updated programs that comply with the legislation of Kazakhstan. We are pleased with the completion of the project and express our gratitude to the entire team of specialists of the First Bit.
