2021: Transition to P7-Office
FSBI "Scientific Medical Center of Hematology," a blood transfusion institute, has completed the transfer of employees to work with the Russian office software "R7-Office." This was announced on August 2, 2021 in the company "New Communication Technologies." As a result of the transition, staff were able to jointly edit documents in the local cloud, which increased system security.
The main incentive to find a solution was the need for office software that would give import independence, have compatibility with popular file and OS formats, and also have a wide range of collaboration capabilities. At the same time, it was important that the adaptation process take a minimum of time.
The management of the NMIC tested several software packages, after which it decided on the combination of R7-Office and Alt Linux OS. According to the customer, the domestic "office" has shown itself as the most adapted to existing documents and more user-friendly.
The implementation of P7-Office took a minimum period, and all user issues were quickly resolved by the technical support team. As a result, the transition turned out to be "seamless," and the NMIC staff was able to continue working on the system without downtime.
