The project allowed the company to build centralized work with 13 thousand units of various types of assets: equipment, components and software licenses located in Abbyy offices around the world.

The platform Naumen is implemented as a replacement for various IT asset accounting tools in local offices. The system automates the management of the full lifecycle of assets - from putaway and commissioning to repair and write-off. So, for example, Abbyy specialists can see documents for the supply of equipment, the history of its movements or maintain warehouse records regardless of the office of presence. In addition, the automated solution also generates prints barcodes IT assets, monitors the validity of licenses and alerts those responsible when the expiration date approaches.

"One of the criteria for selecting a contractor was the speed of system deployment. We preferred the Naumen SMP platform - this is a designer that allows you to easily and quickly configure the required functions. We have a convenient tool for controlling and optimizing costs, as well as for minimizing risks - both technological and financial. Thanks to the project, accounting for IT assets of the company has become more transparent, and with a mobile application it is now easier to inventory equipment, " noted Oleg Lekuchev, vice president of information technology at Abbyy.

The system records the exchange rates for the conversion of asset values into the base currency () USD for the purpose of a single costing in all countries locations. The system automatically calculates the cost of jobs, uses licenses ON , and monitors their availability. To import exchange rates, the Naumen platform integrated with the XE.com web service, and to synchronize the company's organizational structure with the internal personnel system.

Another feature of centralized asset management was the creation of reports in the context of offices, employees or departments, which are presented in the Naumen platform in the form of dashboards.

Abbyy development plans are to automate the process of planning the purchase of IT assets, including the processes of collecting and processing equipment and software needs from various departments of the company.
