Together with the WTB- > group, the Post Office is building a network of logistics centres throughout the country. When the project is completed, the Post will be able to deliver online orders and letters to large cities of Russia before the day, and to regional centers - up to three days.
The third of the LPC Post of Russia was the center in Samara. The terminal area is more than 15 thousand square meters - this is the second largest postal infrastructure in the Volga Federal District. He can handle up to 300 thousand shipments per day. The automated sorting complex of the Samara LPC is fully integrated into the IT landscape of the Russian Post, in particular, it works in constant interaction with its own global system "SportMaster."
The process solution of the sorting center includes several levels: mechanical equipment (conveyors, singulators, sorters, accumulators, rollovers, etc.), an automation system and a complex control system including control panels. Thanks to the use of digital tools, installation and commissioning work in the terminal with a total area of more than 15 thousand square meters was completed within three weeks. The software was created by Reksoft on the basis of industrial controllers and SCADA equipment management platforms.
The market is becoming more global and more of it is' going 'online. As a result, the demand for logistics services is growing. Building an efficient logistics system is a process that requires serious organization at all levels in the door-to-door delivery paradigm. It requires clarity, transparency and end-to-end control of the entire process. It was in this direction that the project on automation of the Samara LPC, a large regional link in the supply chain, was implemented. Together with the customer, we worked out a project that allows us to automate all routine processes and accelerate logistics in the region as much as possible, "commented Alexander Semenov, deputy director for new markets at Rexoft. |
The use of technologies is especially relevant for the most complex, large-scale projects. Such projects include our LPC, which will expand our logistics network and accelerate delivery, "said Nikolai Knysh, Director of Development of Pochtatech, the digital division of Russian Post. |
