Softline delivered laptops for children from large low-income families in the Krasnoyarsk Territory

2021: Delivery of 7,260 laptops

Softline on August 13, 2021 announced that it had supplied laptops for children from large low-income families in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

More than 7,000 computers are already used by schoolchildren of these families for distance and face-to-face education.

An effective educational process is difficult to imagine without the use of technology in training. During the pandemic, large, low-income families found themselves in a vulnerable situation and faced difficulties in providing distance education for children who were cut off from their schools. Often, online lessons for schoolchildren took place at the same time, and due to lack of computers, students in the same family could not participate in online classes at the same time.

Thus, with Ministry of Social Policy of the Krasnoyarsk Territory the participation of extrabudgetary funds allocated by the company Rosneft"," a social project was organized aimed at adapting children from low-income families to remote educational conditions. The IT partner of this project was Softline, a global provider IT solutions and services company. As part of state the contract, Softline specialists selected laptops based on the customer's budget. Further, 7,260 productive laptops (ICL with already pre-installed and) OS ON were delivered to the settlements of the region. The transfer of laptops to families was carried out through regional social services institutions in the first quarter of 2021.
