2021: PAX IM30 Integration
On September 1, 2021, the company became aware that INPAS together Kit Vending with them they optimized the purchasing experience at self-service points based on PAX IM30 Kit Shop - software the Kit Vending project, integrated with PAX Android IM30 terminal of PAX Technology, which allows you to automate: trade showcase, telemetry,, acquiring fiscal,. loyalty systems Now self-service points can optimize the cost of additional equipment in order to competently manage the network of machines and comply with the requirements of the law. And buyers choose and pay for goods on one screen.
As reported, at the end of 2020, the Kit Vending project announced the release of self-service micro-markets or a "smart refrigerator" on the KiT Shop platform, which as of September 2021 are presented in 3 basic options to choose from. Each option has its own peculiarities in terms of technological equipment and purchasing experience.
The principle of the first option is Kit Shop Box: a customer using his smartphone scans the QR code on the door of a still closed refrigerator and gets to a web link where he selects goods from the catalog and pays for them online. After making payment KiT Shop Box opens the refrigerator door for 20 seconds. At the same time, the technological "filling" - a telemetry controller and an electromagnetic lock control unit - sends all the necessary commands. The buyer does not need to download a third-party app for purchase and risk credit card information. And financialization takes place in the cloud with the sending of a check to the buyer's e-mail. This option has its limitations: 1) not all customers will want to follow the external link in their smartphone and, accordingly, pay through online services; 2) not on all smartphones, the built-in camera reads the QR code - you will need an application. As a result, the outlet has lost profit.
The second option is designed for full-fledged micro-markets or cafes without cashiers with a wider range of goods presented both on closed shelves of the refrigerator and on an open display case. In this case, Kit Shop is equipped with a self-service terminal with a 17-inch touchscreen for shopping, which is capable of serving many storefronts and refrigerators, a large amount of additional equipment is connected to it, including an acquiring terminal (PAX D200 and PAX SP30 pinpads from PAX Technology are offered among the options) for payment, scanner, webcam.
In search of ways to optimize purchasing experience and expand business opportunities, Kit Vending together with INPAS has developed the 3rd version of implementation based on the PAX IM30 terminal. This is a comprehensive software and hardware solution that does not have the limitations of the 1st option, since all the necessary functions are built into one compact device:
- selection of items from the catalog on a 5-inch touchscreen;
- acceptance of cashless payment through a bank module with connection to the "ACCEPT CARD!" service and selection from 6 banks and a rate of 1.99% to 2.5%;
- connection of closed display case (refrigerator with lock);
- connection of controlled coffee machine (MDB protocol);
- scanning the item using the built-in barcode scanner;
- financialization at a remote online cash desk;
- Display the check as a QR code
- Web room for network management, monitoring and statistics, reporting and analytics.
Thus, on the basis of the PAX IM30 terminal, it is possible to implement self-servicing points, among which the most popular in September 2021 are coffee points, smart refrigerators or micro-markets.
The PAX IM30 terminal has a modern appearance, impact resistance and waterproof.
For customers, this is a seamless process of choosing products and paying without the need to use a personal smartphone and download additional applications. For owners of micro-markets, self-service is the absence of the need for additional equipment and the corresponding costs for its purchase and maintenance, as well as the optimal use of the display area.
The implementation of Kit Shop software based on PAX IM30 is a logical development of our KiT Shop project. This will allow each company to choose from all options the most optimal combination of function-appearance-price, taking into account the understanding of its target audience and assessment of potential risks. Basic integration work to dock our software with such a terminal took about a month. This was facilitated, on the one hand, by the convenience of working with, and on the operating system Android other hand, the presence of a deployed acquiring infrastructure from PSP INPAS in a well-established partnership with popular banks. In the future, we plan to expand the functionality to the maximum using the IM30 fiches built into PAX, including payment through Face-ID and working with various loyalty systems. said Mikhail Andreev, Project Manager Kit Vending |
