2021: Rebranding the direction of work with private individuals
The operator-integrator "OBIT" on September 15, 2021 announced the rebranding of the direction of work with private individuals, abandoning its historical name in this segment in favor of the brand - "Eneva."
At the same time, the company grows by 2.5% per year on an active subscriber base, which exceeds the average market figures, and also shows 8% revenue growth in the first half of 2021.
Against the backdrop of the slowdown in Russian growth in the wired Internet market (in the second quarter of 2021 it amounted to only 1% in terms of the number of connections and a little more than 2% in money, according to TMT Consulting), the company, in accordance with the general industry trend, plans to concentrate on additional services and package offerings.
The OBIT strategy was formed and launched until 2024, one of the stages of which was the withdrawal of the B2C direction under a separate brand. The created structure has an ambitious task to become the best operator for the house. At the same time, all obligations under contracts with individuals are retained for LLC OBIT in an unchanged amount.
As of September 2021, 62.5 thousand households of the northern capital use OBIT services. By the number of active subscribers, the company ranks 6 among operators. By 2024, OBIT plans to double the subscriber base, increasing its share of the B2C market to 6.5% from the current 4%.
The direction of corporate clients will continue to develop under the historical name - "OBIT." Here, the company aims to increase the share of large corporate customers in the revenue structure, promote services disconnected from the network, as well as implement projects to integrate and support software products together with leading developers and solution providers.
In our 19 years of existence, we have become a versatile provider of end-to-end solutions, providing IT services to a large number of our customers. We are going to further expand the portfolio of non-operator services - for example, OBIT has become a strategic partner of Naumen, a Russian representative in the field of solutions for managing digital infrastructure, client communications and service, "said Andrei Guk, CEO of OBIT. |
As part of the implementation of the growth strategy, OBIT is going to continue to develop cooperation with financial organizations, industrial enterprises, companies in the extractive industry, energy, retail and telecom, as well as state-owned companies. The directions of strategic development declared non-Telekomov digital services, continued expansion into the Moscow market, as well as the opening of a highly efficient data center.
As of September 2021, the share of non-telecom digital services in the total business of the company is no more than 2%. However, the company highly appreciates the potential of this area. Its average annual growth rate exceeds 20%. Given the decline in growth rates in the market for communication services, this is an opportunity to ensure further revenue growth. By 2024, OBIT plans to double the share of digital services in the revenue structure. At the same time, over 60% of the sales of digital services will be provided by digital solutions based on cloud technologies.
The presented strategy for the development of OBIT until 2024, within the framework of which it was decided to separate the areas of B2B and B2C markets, will allow us to concentrate on improving customer experience, developing technological infrastructure and entering various markets, "said Andrei Guk. - Subscribers from both segments will benefit from the division, to which we will be able to pay equal attention and resources. |
We occupy a strong position in the telecommunications services market in the home region, "added Nikita Damaskin, appointed managing director of Eneva. - We will supplement the portfolio of the Eneva brand with package offers, including subscriptions to TV services. In addition, we are considering projects to introduce various solutions in the field of digitalization of residential buildings with developers and the Criminal Code of St. Petersburg. |
