2021: Aerodisk East Beatblaze Storage View
The companies Aero disk"" and Promobit"," Russian manufacturers, SHD on September 22, 2021 presented a joint development - the Aerodisk East Beatblaze data storage system, built on the basis of. processors Elbrus-8SV The solution combines the hardware BITBLAZE software and Aerodisk. In September 2021, the decision was made to, Register of the Ministry of Industry and Trade including industrial products that were produced on the territory. RUSSIAN FEDERATION
Companies have pooled their expertise and resources in storage development and manufacturing to create a product with a number of specific features and functionality. The idea of releasing a joint solution appeared at Aerodisk and Promobit in 2020. The development and certification of the final complex took a year, of which about six months took the adaptation of the software to the hardware. Inclusion of the solution in the register of the Ministry of Industry and Trade means its full readiness for commercial operation as part of customer IT systems.
The main feature of the Airfield East Beatblaze storage system is that it is the first fully Russian general purpose dual-controller mid-range storage (two controllers are located in one case) based on the BITBLAZE GANYMED 2E series line with an Elbrus-8CV processor.
The solution provides fast multi-threaded access to data , multi-tasking, and dual controllers that significantly improve overall storage reliability. This allows you to use it for tasks such as virtualization IT resources, as well as a range of scenarios. reserve Data Storage
Architecturally, the system is 2 storage controllers combined via the 48Gb SAS interface. The main characteristics of each node include the Elbrus-8CV 1/2 x processor, up to 128 GB of DDR4 RAM, Front-End ports 2x1GbE for remote management, as well as 2×10/25GbE and 2 × 8/16/32GB FC ports. The disk subsystem of the solution includes 24 hot-swappable 3.5 '/ SAS 2.5 'drive bays. The solution can also be scaled by additional expansion modules up to a total of 30 petabytes of unformatted capacity. The decision works under the software A-CORE control of the development of the Aerodisk company.
Centralized technical support of Russian storage systems around the clock will be provided by the existing Aerodisk service centers (more than 120 in the Russian Federation and the CIS).
As the import substitution program in IT in the public sector develops, customer requirements for the performance, fault tolerance and functionality of Russian storage systems grow . Cooperation with Promobit allows us to achieve synergy, thanks to which we together solve increasingly complex problems and are able to meet the challenges that appear before our customers, "said Sergey Dymovich, Director of Development at Aerodisk Research Center. |
We have been developing storage since 2011, solutions on the Elbrus architecture since 2013. In light of the digitalization of the economy and the state apparatus, the demand for Russian infrastructure solutions is growing. To accelerate market growth, it requires the collaboration of industry leaders who can jointly achieve a high level of technical and functional excellence that meets the demand for storage with increased performance and fault tolerance. As of September 2021, several cooperations in different areas are being tested, but the project with Aerodisk was the first implemented for us, fully available for order, "said Maxim Koposov, director of Promobit. |
