Data recovery must also occur synchronously in all parts of the IT landscape. Consistency groups provide simultaneous synchronous creation and recovery of snapshots in different IE components. This is the top functionality of the DSS, which is in high demand today by medium and large companies.

The second important part of the update is the RestoredAPI. The new patch will allow you to carry out various projects of external and internal automation of DSS. This functionality implements a clear and simple script language and is designed both for automating internal DSS operations and for integrating third-party solutions into Aerodisk DSS.

The RestfulAPI will also help automate infrastructure-specific tasks.

With this functionality, enterprises and other developers will be able to integrate backup data, perform specific monitoring tasks, and configure self-written scripts.

It is important to note that consistency group features will be included in licenses where local replication support is available and the RestoreAPI functionality will be available in the base license. This provides flexibility and ease of use for new capabilities at no additional cost.
