On October 20, 2021, VK (formerly Mail.ru Group) announced the creation of the position of Director of Ecosystem Information Security (CISO), responsible for all projects of the company. This position in July 2021 was taken by Anton Antropov. Its task is to centralize the information security of the entire company. The main goal of the team led by Anton is to increase the security of the infrastructure of the entire VK ecosystem.
