2021: Starting the courier aggregator

On October 29, 2021, Ozon announced the launch of a courier aggregator for express delivery of orders. The service is intended for sellers, at the time of work it is available in Moscow, the Moscow Region, St. Petersburg and Novosibirsk. By the end of 2021, it is expected to expand the geography by another 10 cities with a population of 1 million people.

According to the press service of Ozon, the aggregator of courier services is aimed at sellers who are ready to collect and deliver orders 1-3 hours after checkout. The partner aggregator service at the first stage was Gett Delivery. Later, Master Delivery and Ozon Rocket couriers will connect to the project.

Ozon launches courier aggregator

Sellers won't have to pay for the service. The aggregator can be used by sellers who trade on the site from their warehouse according to the window model (delivery by the seller, scheme realFBS). Orders will be delivered by foot couriers or couriers on cars. cars

Order must not be heavier than 20 kg. The courier for each order selects an algorithm - depending on the speed, cost and level of delivery service. After assembly, the order must send the package to the courier from the aggregator within 15 minutes.

Since March 2021, Ozon has been operating according to the model of an online showcase, when sellers pay the marketplace only a commission for the sale of goods. By the end of October 2021, according to the marketplace, about 7 thousand entrepreneurs use the realFBS scheme.

Since October 2021, sellers can deliver goods within 1-3 hours from the moment of ordering - with their own logistics or with an independent search for the carrier. According to Ozon, using this model, the turnover of goods in the seller's warehouse grows to 20%.
