In early November 2021, Ford began to separately sell electric engines to convert cars into electric vehicles. We are talking about a system that is used in the Mustang Mach-E GT electric car. The Eluminator e-crate electric motor develops a power of 281 liters. from. and 433 Nm of torque.

Ford said it is aware of the importance of the secondary market for motorists and as the industry becomes more electrified, it wants to become a leader in the electric parts market.

Ford Performance plans to develop a broader list of components for the Eluminator transmission with some leading manufacturers, including battery systems, controllers, and traction inverters, to close the loop on complete secondary market electrification solutions.[1]
