2021: Leveraging Lenovo Solutions to Accelerate Business Processes

On November 10, 2021 , Lenovo announced a partnership with DreamWorks Animation in the field of workstation modernization. The film studio has chosen high-performance solutions ThinkStation and ThinkPad in order to create full-length animated films with their help. This partnership will strengthen the cooperation of companies  - Lenovo is a supplier of data centers in DreamWorks. As part of the signed long-term agreement, DreamWorks will install ThinkStation P620 and ThinkStation P920 workstations in all divisions to create animation and characters, including for the expected film The Bad Guys.

A prerequisite for expanding this partnership was the deployment of Lenovo's local computing infrastructure on the data center DreamWorks in order to create a high-performance, scalable and sustainable operations center for creating film content at its capacity.

Demand for animated content is quite high, so DreamWorks to create one of the expected premieres of the 2022 season, high-performance solutions are required that will work with increasing complexity of processes and short production times. Such are Lenovo workstations, with them artists will be able to implement many creative ideas.
