We have trained algorithms to predict the performance of contract work, for example, to assess the likelihood of an out-of-pocket situation, "Soloviev said. - This made it possible to increase the economic effect of production field processes. This is all very material, because, for example, the day of idle drilling is very noticeable. Together with partners, we are building a predictive model that will predict and prevent complications or emergency situations.

Russian geology uses artificial intelligence not theoretically, but in the most applied sense, says the representative of Rosgeology. Technologies are involved in the automation of the complex process of field work management, automation of supporting production processes and big data processing. Each geological study is dozens of terrabytes of data that, before analysis, still have to be cleaned and normalized.
