Rosatom and Samara region will jointly carry out digital transformation of the region

2021: Digitalization Agreement

On December 2, 2021, an Agreement on Cooperation between the Government of the Samara Region and Rosatom State Corporation in the field of digitalization was signed. The agreement was concluded until 2024 and signed by the Director of Digitalization of Rosatom Ekaterina Solntseva and the First Vice-Governor - Chairman of the Government of the Samara Region Viktor Kudryashov.

Within the framework of cooperation, it is planned to combine the potential of Rosatom as a high-tech corporation, as well as Samara the region as a region with developed personnel, industrial and - scientificallyeducational the potential to ensure the digital transformation of key industries economies and the social sphere. The parties will jointly develop and implement digital solutions that improve the quality of state services, business activity and living standards of the population of the Samara region. There will also be joint work on the development of Rosatom's digital technologies.

The priority area of cooperation will be the introduction of digital solutions for improving the urban environment, including management systems, simulation and information modeling. Here, work can be organized, including in projects using geographic information technologies, as part of the creation of information models of buildings and structures, eco-monitoring and environmental modeling. A separate area will be the introduction of digital technologies in the social sphere of the Samara region, including health care and the educational system.

Along with this, the parties will jointly develop production technologies, in particular, robotics, artificial intelligence, work with big data, virtual and augmented reality. Among the promising areas are digital energy, digital safety and risk management technologies, as well as productivity and labor protection.

An important area of ​ ​ work will be cooperation in the field of import substitution of engineering software at enterprises of the Samara region.

It is expected that digital investment projects will be implemented in the Samara region, since cooperation with Rosatom will allow the region to attract additional investments in the framework of the regional components of the National Program "Digital Economy of Russia."

Rosatom and the Samara region already have experience in cooperation in the digital sphere: since 2018, joint projects "Smart City" and "Smart Healthcare" have been implemented in the region using the decisions of the state corporation. The active introduction of Smart City technologies is taking place in Samara, Togliatti and Novokuybyshevsk - municipalities are included in the list of pilot cities of the Smart City project of the Ministry of Construction of Russia. In addition, the state corporation cooperates with enterprises of the Samara region in the framework of its main activities, for example, the Syzran plant "Tyazhmash" participates in projects for the construction of nuclear power plants in Russia and abroad.

Rosatom has a complex of import-independent digital solutions that can be successfully used in the Samara region to develop urban and municipal services and expand feedback tools from the population. At the same time, the Samara region is a region with a developed high-tech industry, where our digital developments can be applied and developed. Combining potentials within the framework of a bilateral agreement will give the cumulative effect of digitalization of the region and industry as a whole, "said Ekaterina Solntseva.

Samara region is a territory with a high concentration of scientific, educational, innovative and production and technical potential. The agreement with ROSATOM is another stage of constructive cooperation between our region and one of the representatives of the Russian economy. The document opens up a range of opportunities for the introduction of advanced technologies of Rosatom in the field of digital economy, lean production and effective management in the Samara region.
