December 7, 2021 IT- the company Jets Infosystems"" announced the creation of a direction for supporting infrastructure Open Source decisions. The service is especially relevant for progressive companies that use DevOps practice.

Jet Infosystems Launches Open Source Maintenance Service

According to a study conducted by Jet Infosystems in 2020, 56% of Russian companies organize the development of their applications in containers and use open source products. At the same time, most of them encounter difficulties in subsequent maintenance of the Open Source software stack. This is due, among other things, to a huge shortage of specialists capable of fulfilling the tasks of developing and supporting such products.

The Jet Infosystems service center began the practice of maintaining Open Source in 2020 as part of the implementation of infrastructure projects using microservice architectures. Since then, this segment has shown significant growth, so the IT company decided to separate this direction of service into a separate service. Within it, specialists will ensure the functionality of systems using the products Kubernetes, Kafka, Kassandra, Mongo DB, PostgreSQL, Red Hat OpenShift, Redis, Anonymous, ManageIQ, Zabbix, Elastic Search and other open source solutions.

Within the framework of service contracts, Jet Infosystems specialists are also responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, updating and optimizing the performance of Open Source products used by customers.
