The JINR consists of 7 laboratories: Theoretical Physics Laboratory, Nuclear Problems Laboratory, Nuclear Reactions Laboratory, High Energy Physics Laboratory, Neutron Physics Laboratory, Information Technology Laboratory, Radiation Biology Laboratory. Each of the laboratories is comparable in scale to a large academic institute. With the help of a new professional scanner, ElarScan plans to digitize materials that are most often in demand by the Institute's services.

As a result of the scan, you can create PDF files with recognized text. Software the scanner "" Skanimidzh allows you to recognize characters from 50 languages, so all documents, including scientific reports and articles, will be quickly available when they are placed in an electronic archive and using full-text search.
