With the help of Softline, AverStroy was able to improve the work with documentation and applications, simplify internal processes. Optimization was achieved by switching to Google and AppSheet services. This was reported on January 28, 2022 by Softline.
The company turned to Softline in order to simplify the distribution of tasks, coordinate their implementation, optimize document flow and other internal processes. This was due to the development of the company, the emergence of projects, an increase in the number of equipment. Conventional office solutions no longer covered the needs of the customer.
Softline offered a number of solutions to the client, and Google Workspace, which includes a large number of various services, turned out to be the optimal product suitable for the client's tasks.
Now Google Meet is actively used for communications under the distributed structure of the company. The solution allows you to conduct remote meetings and meetings in a comfortable mode. Documents are edited together in Google Docs. Gmail mail and calendar are also actively used.
In AverStroy, most of the cars work under. Chrome OS Almost all processes take place in. cloud Employees have enough computers under Linux with established, in browser which all work takes place. With this method of action, the characteristics of the machine itself are almost irrelevant, since the whole load goes to. server Google It is worth noting not only the possibility to work on any computers and, but also mobile devices the need to monitor and coordinate the state of the infrastructure in different cities of the company's presence - all applications are in the cloud and are managed from one place.
Separately, you should highlight the AppSheet platform, which is included in the version of Google Workspace used by AverStroy. With its help, the company independently developed its own mobile application, which allows you to coordinate the work of staff in different cities and departments.
The developed application costs both on mobile devices of crane operators and on devices of employees responsible for coordinating applications. It allows the manager to assign a specialist, submit requests to him and calculate the necessary parameters. The created application in the form of a push message appears on the mobile device of the crane operator, after which he can confirm the application, indicate working hours and even attach a photo of the report from the customer. Completed requests are marked for the convenience of the employee.
If necessary, crane operators and drivers submit applications for repair of equipment through the application, noting that it has broken and applying a photo of the malfunction. Previously, this had to call, submit written applications, fill out reports, which created many difficulties.
Employees of the repair area on their devices see all requests, keep records of equipment repairs, and also receive reminders about the need for maintenance. The convenience of logicians has also increased.

= AverStroy IT Director Allen Yesipov noted|"Thanks to the application created in a few days with the help of AppSheet, we got rid of a large number of unnecessary calls, negotiations, document exchange, etc. At the same time, third-party specialists were not needed for development - everything was done on its own. The application works quickly without interruptions, problems and hangs.
Softline specialists have completed the task, and with their help we managed to establish internal processes in the company in the most optimal way, "}}
"Not so long ago, Google bought the designer of enterprise applications AppSheet and added a version of Core to one of the tariffs of Workspace. This has become an opportunity for users to continue to work in Google services, create applications at no additional cost and write code. According to the results of the project, we in the Softline team received more knowledge and experience in the process of work than we transferred. It was interesting for us to get acquainted with the practice of using AppSheet in the logistics sector and understand: there are no restrictions in improving processes, " told Evgenia Markova, Google Cloud Product Manager at Softline |
AverStroy plans to switch to Google AppSheet Enterprise so that it can connect a third-party database. Google Tables worked as a prototype, but now the company has a need for a professional and specialized third-party solution.
