Collections of Italian museums will be digitized on ElarScan, which Elar announced on February 1, 2022.
In the historical castle of the city of Udine, the digitization of funds began. Using funding from a European project, city museums acquired the ElarScan planetary scanner to create an electronic collection of photographs, drawings and engravings from the 19th-20th centuries.
The translation of the collection into electronic format has great value for Italian museums, researchers and history lovers. At the end of 2021, ELAR's partner, PageNet srl, installed the ElarScan A2-600KS universal planetary scanner.
