2022: Start account verification via ESIA

Avito became a service that implemented account verification through State Services using the Goskyst application. For successful verification, the Avito user must have a confirmed type of account on the State Services portal. This feature will increase the level of trust between sellers and buyers and increase the security of online transactions. This became known on February 1, 2022.

Verification through the State Services using the Goskyush application is the first step in the experiment of the Ministry of Digital Services of Russia to connect aggregators of goods and services on the Internet to the Unified Identification and Authentication System of the State Services Portal. In total, 10 companies responsible for 12 sites and applications participate in the pilot project.

This greatly reduces the likelihood of fraud and bad faith.
