2022: Creation of the analytical infrastructure of the virtual carrier
On February 22, 2022 , Gazprombank Mobile and GlowByte announced the completion of a project to create an analytical infrastructure for a virtual telecom operator. In December, 2020 Gazprombank started own mobile operatoragpb Mobile which works for Tele2 networks. The operator has become part of the retail ecosystem bank.
To work with data coming from the mobile operator infrastructure in batch and real time, it was necessary to create a system for processing data. The purpose of creating such a system is to determine the quality of the services provided, automatically select the offer and increase the loyalty of the customers of Gazprombank's ecosystem. The system provides state-of-the-art data research and modeling tools and services and is built using open source software in a cloud environment.

= reports Alexander Levchenko, Director of IT Infrastructure and Data Analytics Department, GPB Mobile|An analytical platform architecture has been developed that combines technologies and methodologies for working with data. The selected approach provides reporting, interactive event responses, up-to-date predictive analytics, and scoring by combining real-time streaming with historical-based batch analytics .
Creating an infrastructure in a cloud environment can reduce implementation time by fully or partially using ready-made Solutions SaaS, and labor by saving on hardware configuration, installation, and software configuration,}}
When designing the System, one of the main tasks we saw the introduction of approaches that allow us to ensure further scaling without significant processing as the subscriber base grows and services expand. In the technological landscape , Open Source stack software is used, such as Postgres, Kafka, Kafka Streams, ELK, which has proven itself in solving such problems and allows you to process and analyze data both in real time and offline. |
