2022: Implementation of "digital duet" systems for warehouse
Together with the customer, it was decided to introduce a "digital duet" of systems - Axelot WMS X5 for the warehouse and Axelot TOS for managing the container terminal.
TOS The complete container processing cycle from the arrival to the shipment of empty containers is automated. Before the containers arrive at the Russian plant Haval Chinese , a - is received from the plant, excelfile which indicates the container numbers, the name and the number of spare parts in them. This file is loaded into TOS and a planned receipt is created from it.
Upon arrival of the train, the containers are removed and placed in the customs inspection zone for customs clearance. After it is completed, according to the configured algorithm, TOS creates a task for the richstacker driver to move the container into the drain. The richstaker driver sees all the tasks on the screen of a tablet installed in the cab on which the TOS mobile workplace is deployed.
WMS implements the processing of three types of inbound flow: delivery from a container terminal, delivery from local suppliers, returns from production. When planning the shipment of spare parts to production, WMS takes into account the previously delivered quantity of spare parts. Since the shipment for production is carried out in quanta equal to the box, and MES (Production Process Management System) does not know the balances in either production or warehouse, it is WMS that controls the volume of supply for production. To do this, WMS has created a mechanism for accounting for the already delivered quantity of spare parts for production, which "subtracts" from the previously delivered quantity of spare parts for shipment received from MES. When the meter reaches zero, a quant equal to a box is shipped to production.
It is interesting to implement TOS-WMS interaction at the level of product balances in containers that are in the drain. The ability of systems to communicate closely with each other is largely due to the fact that both solutions are developed on the basis of the Axelot X logistics platform, which has mechanisms to ensure that all components of the platform interact with each other in real time. But the creation of a large-scale integration circuit also played an important role.
