2022: Improving Airport Security
During acceptance tests, the effective operation of the radar at an air temperature of -50 ° C, icing up to 20 mm and high wind speed was confirmed.
The parabolic antenna allows the device to receive information simultaneously through two channels: the primary one, which is used to detect aircraft at a distance of up to 120 km, and the secondary one - to collect at a distance of up to 380 km additional information about flight altitude, fuel balance, and board number. This eliminates the need for a separate secondary radar and improves operational reliability. Another feature of the product is built-in fault detection control, heating and conditioning equipment.
AORL-1AM uses signal and information processing methods using processors and integrated circuits, optimized control and control systems, and completely redesigned transceiver equipment.
AORL-1AM radars are supplied as part of a federal project to develop regional airports, as well as modernize transport infrastructure in the Arctic region. The products are developed on the basis of current technologies, which allows you to adjust to the conditions of a particular area and weather conditions, ensure high accuracy of detection of aircraft and receive from them all the necessary data for flight tracking, "- noted the general director of the United Instrument-Making Corporation (operating under the brand name "Roselectronika") Sergey Sakhnenko. |
The modernization of Nadym Airport was carried out by the Chelyabinsk plant "Flight" of the Vega concern of the Roselectronika holding. Earlier, the radar equipment of the CRZ "Flight" was installed at the airports of Orsk, Batagay, Perm, Abakan, Sevastopol, Chelyabinsk, Murmansk and Salekhard.
