2023: Launch of lightweight plastic pallets begins

The resident of the special economic zone (SEZ) "Technopolice Moscow" company "Legoplast" has completed commissioning work on the line for the production of innovative lightweight plastic pallets. The products have a special design that is convenient for loading and transportation, said Vladislav Ovchinsky, head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy, which is part of the Complex of Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations of the capital, on February 15, 2023.

The company began work at the SEZ site in Moscow at the end of 2022 and is already mastering this type of product: plastic pallets, which have an improved design. For this purpose, the resident of the capital SEZ purchased and installed a production line. The company is ready to produce over 400 thousand units of products per year, - said Vladislav Ovchinsky.

Consumers of products of this production will be enterprises of the agro-industrial complex, agricultural producers, domestic industrial enterprises, wholesale bases, warehouse complexes, logistics centers, stores and marketplaces. These forms of pallets have their own peculiarity and are patented.

Such pallets weigh several times less than usual, and their load parameters remain the same. The lightweight design significantly reduces the cost of the product. The special geometry allows the stacks of pallets to be stacked tightly, effectively using the transport space, since they can be inserted into each other during reverse transportation. The design of the top of the pallet is also innovative: it has special sides that fix the boxes and prevent them from slipping. In addition, the design provides zones for marking, pallet numbers and other information that the customer will need, "explained Vladimir Shtylev, General Director of Legoplast.

Like other pallets produced by a resident of the SEZ of Moscow, these products are suitable for full processing, adapted for return and non-return transportation. Compared to wooden pallets, these are completely airtight, but also move freely using a loader. They don't have separate nodes and parts that can break. Plastic pallets do not rot, do not absorb moisture, they can be disinfected, and the service life is at least 10 years.

The company for February 2023 rents premises with an area of ​ ​ 1.1 thousand square meters. The resident invested more than 200 million rubles in production and will create about 50 jobs in the future. The logo "Made in the SEZ" Technopolice Moscow "will be placed on these products of the resident, - said Gennady Degtev, General Director of the SEZ" Technopolice Moscow. "

The company's capacities allow the production of more than 400 thousand plastic pallets per year, which will reduce the share of such foreign products in the food, transport and warehouse industries, in the field of transportation and storage of goods. High-density low-pressure polyethylene, from which pallets are made, is also completely produced in Russia.

2022: Start of construction and installation work for the plastic pallet shop

On the territory of the special economic zone "Technopolice Moscow" in 2022, the production of plastic pallets will open. It will be environmentally friendly and will be able to meet the rapidly growing demand for these products. This became known on April 13, 2022 from the words of the head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy of Moscow, which is part of the Complex of Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations of the capital, Vladislav Ovchinsky.

At the Pechatniki site of the special economic zone of the capital, Legoplast begins construction and installation work to organize its own workshop. She plans to establish production in 2022, which will allow the production of more than 300 thousand plastic pallets per year and reduce the share of foreign products in the transportation and storage of goods in the food, transport and warehouse industries, - said Vladislav Ovchinsky.

The company will launch the production of plastic reusable products from recycled raw materials. The pallet manufactured by Legoplast can be easily processed into the same new unit, which significantly reduces the load on the environment and saves forest resources.

With the opening of this production, the company expects to meet the growing demand from domestic manufacturers, logistics companies, marketplaces.

After the launch of production in the SEZ of Moscow, the Legoplast company plans to interact with the Russian environmental operator. Some forms of pallets planned for manufacture are special and are subject to patent and license protection.
