SOICA is a platform for automatic document processing and analytics. The platform allows you to form a single window for the receipt of paper and electronic documents, to classify, sort, complete, recognize, analyze and reconcile them both among themselves and with external sources. SOICA also allows you to modify images, mark clerks, anonymize data, record the presence of seals, stamps, signatures and handwritten text. SOICA provides a No code configuration environment, which allows you to configure projects of any complexity for processing unstructured documents to specialists who do not speak programming languages (data for April 2022).

Obtaining the status of an AI product
On July 29, 2024, SL Soft (Softline Group of Companies) announced that it had received a mark on the classification of the SOICA platform as an artificial intelligence. The corresponding sign is entered in the Register of Russian software. This means that when implementing the SOICA platform, customers can expect to reduce income tax payments in accordance with the Letter of the Federal Tax Service of Russia dated 07.03.2023 No. SD-4-3/2672 @.
SOICA is an OCR platform for streaming recognition, extraction and processing of data from scan images and digital copies of structured and unstructured documents of any type. SOICA helps companies automate routine tasks, simplify business processes, and improve operational efficiency.
The use of AI in SOICA provides faster speed and accuracy of operation, which significantly reduces processing time. information SOICA effectively handles the recognition of data from complex and non-standard documents, even if the scan image contains a large number of noise and defects.
We strive to constantly improve our solutions and use advanced technologies to create the most effective tools for our customers, - said Viktor Goryunov, Director of SOICA, SL Soft (Softline Group of Companies). |
Enhanced platform functionality
SL Soft (Softline Group of Companies) has expanded the functionality of the SOICA OCR platform - the ability to recognize handwritten text has been added. This simplifies the processing of a number of documents: passports, military tickets and other identity documents, as well as applications, forms, protocols, certificates, questionnaires and other materials that fully or partially contain handwritten text. The developer announced this on March 27, 2024.
The recognition accuracy is in the range of 80-95% and directly depends on the legibility of the handwriting and the quality of the scan or photocopy. To work with complex documents from a specific subject area, historical archives or materials in other languages (by default, the system provides recognition in Russian and English), it is possible to further study the system for a specific customer on the provided data.
SOICA is a versatile platform for recognizing, extracting and processing data from scanned images and digital copies of structured and unstructured documents.
SOICA is positioned as a single, end-to-end enterprise solution for streaming any documents. The introduction of handwriting recognition enhances the possibilities of its application and brings additional value to the product. Now our customers can completely automatically process any documents containing handwritten text, and there are still more of them than we can see: passports, diplomas, work books, questionnaires, applications, orders, letters, etc. High-quality handwriting recognition is important for many customers, especially in areas, and insurance retail. bank industries Machine processing significantly speeds up data entry and minimizes the number of errors, - explained the Alexander Pavlov managing director of SOICA, SL Soft (Softline Group of Companies). |
How OCR helps automate workflow
Almost all large and medium-sized companies have switched to working with electronic documents - this applies to both document management with counterparties and the digitization of paper versions. In both cases, OCR solutions are used together with EDMS (and other systems for storage and processing of documents). They allow you to extract information from scan images and digital copies of structured and unstructured documents of any type, thus automating the work of various departments. Let's take a closer look at typical scenarios for using modern OCR solutions implemented by the SOICA team of SL Soft. Read more here.
Integration with 1C: Document Flow
SOICA from SL Soft (Softline Group of Companies) is integrated with 1C: Document Flow. Softline announced this on February 21, 2024.
Using these solutions together allows you to quickly perform routine, time-consuming operations to process electronic and digitized documentation.
As of February 2024, there are two modes of operation of the connector. In automatic, documents immediately fall into SOICA (received via REST API, e-mail or taken from local and network folders), in manual, users download documents from the 1C: Document Flow interface to it. Next, SOICA processes files: eliminates noise, distortions, adjusts brightness and contrast, etc., for optimal image quality. The next step - SOICA classifies documents (if necessary, divides a single received file into separate documents) and extracts information that is transmitted to 1C: Document Flow to automatically fill out registration cards.
The development of the connector expands the potential for using the SOICA platform, as it provides more users with the opportunity to work with it. The use of SOICA and 1C: Document Flow will speed up and facilitate routine work for many specialists whose activities are related to documentation, - said Viktor Goryunov, Managing Director of SOICA, SL Soft. |
2022: As part of the solution to expand the ability of EDMS to load and process arrays of paper documents
Docsvision announced on May 25, 2022 that it had jointly presented a joint solution with Soica to expand the EDMS's ability to load and process arrays of paper documents. The joint solution is a stack of Russian technologies: Docsvision platforms and Soica's streaming recognition and automatic document processing systems, which will collectively increase the independence of Russian companies from foreign software.
