"ElarScan" is installed in the state public library in Malaysia

On May 12, 2022, the company "Elar" announced that the planetary scanner ElarScan had begun operations in Perlis, one of 13 states. With Malaysia the help of ElarScan, A2-400KS public library plans to digitize its collections and make books available through the electronic Smart. library

Perlis State is one of the first states where librarianship originated in Malaysia. His library collects and preserves historical documents written by natives or residents of the state and published there as well. The collection contains works on Malaysian art, dissertations, student works, drawings and various research materials.

Readers get access to books in electronic format through the Smart Library, equipped with modern equipment. To expand the electronic fund in 2022, ElarScan A2-400KS was installed in the library with the help of Elar partners Peridott Beyond Sdn Bhd.

For May 2022, the library also houses a reference collection on Islam of 3570 books that were donated by individuals, as well as various departments, companies, and public organizations. In turn, the foreign embassies of the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kazakhstan, Maldives, Syria, Indonesia, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia supplemented the collection by giving the library about 1,467 books.
