2024: Governor of Murmansk region summed up the results of digitalization of the region

In February 2024, the Governor of the Murmansk Region, Andrei Chibis, held an operational meeting of the regional government, at which, among other things, he spoke about the results of the digitalization of the region.

According to Chibis, the Murmansk region has achieved notable results in the field of information technology in recent years. So, since 2021, the services of the region have become winners and laureates of federal competitions 11 times. In 2023, Murmansk became a laureate of the competition "Best Municipal Practice" in the nomination "Modernization of the urban economy through the introduction of digital technologies and platform solutions," said the head of the Murmansk region in February 2024.

Among other projects of digital transformation of the region, he noted the introduction of a single digital platform for managing the region, a single platform for managing the transport system, a system for monitoring the cleaning of territories of municipalities, a public video surveillance system and analytics. In addition, the projects "Unified Map of a Resident of the Murmansk Region" and "Young Arctic," tourism and investment portals are being implemented. The flagship among the IT solutions of the region "Our North," which was launched back in 2019, was specified in the Ministry of Digital Development of the Murmansk Region.

Earlier in 2023, Andrei Chibis, summing up the implementation of the plan "In the North - to live!" in the block "Digitalization," noted that the region is in the top 10 best in the country in this area.

A decent result, then we need to move only forward, - said the governor.

He also drew attention to several indicators. By the end of July 2023, over 26 thousand single cards of a resident of the Murmansk region were issued, and more than 35 thousand issues were resolved on the Our North portal.^[1]
