"Satel" built infrastructure for the regional interdepartmental telephone network of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug

2022: Completion of the first stage to create a regional interdepartmental telephone network

On June 14, 2022, SATEL announced the completion of the first stage of work on the creation of the Regional Interdepartmental Telephone Network of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug with the supply of telecommunications equipment and the transfer of non-exclusive rights to use the software. For this, its own UC-platform "Russian Telephone Node" (RTU) was introduced. As part of the implementation of the first stage of the project to implement the UC platform in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, the core of the RTU unified communications system was installed and put into operation.

Modernization of the telephone network of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug included pre-design inspection, customization of RTU, supply, installation of the system and its commissioning. All work was completed on time, and as of June 2022, subscribers are migrating to the implemented UC platform. The design and implementation of the second and third stages of the project will be carried out based on indicators of financial and economic efficiency, which the UC platform will be able to show. The Russian Telephone Node is a completely domestic digital product, with the help of which high-load distributed communication networks of a federal scale and IP telephony with a reliability of 99.999% are created. One server with a UC-platform RTU, even in the basic configuration, can accumulate up to 4 thousand one-time telephone calls and several tens of thousands of subscriber accounts. RTU can replace such imported digital solutions as Cisco, Unify (formerly Siemens Enterprise Communications), Avaya, Iskratel.

The introduction of the domestic RTU universal communications platform provides opportunities to use all key qualities, communications including the use mobile phone as a full-fledged office telephone with a short number, free communication within the company and forwarding calls from a multi-channel corporate number. The network of any operator is suitable as a reference network. mobile communication All employees - both office and mobile - are together in a single communication space.

The introduction of RTU allows you to ensure stable telephone communication even in the most remote regions of Russia, - said Roman Romanov, head of the software development center of SATEL. - At the same time, being a completely domestic development, the UC platform is reliably protected from malicious attacks, and thanks to the Micro RTU technology and from interruptions in the connection between subscribers even with unstable communication with the UC platform center.
